Sunday, September 27 2009 was the 18th and final week of IROCC's 2009 Summer Points Season. We had a small turnout with 30 entries: 16 cars in Touring Stock, 8 in Pro-10, and 6 in Touring Nitro.

Sunday, August 23 2009 was the 15th week of IROCC's 2009 Summer Points Season. We had a decent turnout with 40 entries: 21 cars in Touring Stock, 12 in Pro-10, and 7 in Touring Nitro.
This was a special race for IROCC as it was held at the Queen Alexandra Hospital for Children. Every year the QA holds a charity car show (full size cars) where they raise money for their facility. This was the 2nd year that IROCC was invited to participate in the festivities.
The race was a huge success for IROCC as we had hundreds of spectators throughout the course of the day. During the Nitro qualifiers and Main the track was lined by spectators the whole way around the perimeter. It was excellent exposure for our club! In the end IROCC made a $500 donation to the QA Hospital. Thanks to all that came out to participate! And big thanks to Craig Roberts for organizing the event in the first place.
This was the first official race for newcomer David Labossiere. David did extremely well for his first race, and he ended up taking 3rd spot in the C-Main! Nice going David! We hope to see you back for the next club race in Colwood, on Sept 6th!
It was great to see Trinity Armstrong racing. Trinity has raced a couple of times in the past but she was really flying this time around! Trinity grabbed 2nd place in the C-Main and bumped up into the B-Main! Nice driving Trinity!

Sunday, September 13 2009 was the 16th week of IROCC's 2009 Summer Points Season. We had a small turnout with 34 entries: 20 cars in Touring Stock, 8 in Pro-10, and 6 in Touring Nitro.
This was the first official race for newcomer Danny Lester. Danny did extremely well for his first race, and he ended up taking 5th spot in the C-Main! Nice going Danny!
Neil Johnson had an epic race day as he did a double-bump, from the C-Main to the B-Main, and then from the B-Main to the A-Main! Congrats Neil! His poor motor must have been ready to give up after 18 mins of back-to-back racing!
