IROCC RC Club located in Victoria BC Canada.
Our club has a basic system that keeps the racing competitive and inexpensive. In the winter we race indoors with 1 cell lipo "stock" 12th scale cars. In the summer we run outside with 10th scale "stock" electric, 10th scale nitro touring cars and, new for 2011, 10th scale WGT as our regular classes. We pride ourselves on this simple system that has become the foundation of our club, as it keeps the racing very close with a large number of drivers in any given class.

Saturday, February 18 2012 was the 11th official points race of IROCC's 2011/2012 Winter Season. We had a decent turnout with 28 entries: 22 in 12th Scale, and 6 in WorldGT. This was the fourth WorldGT points night.
Congrats to Paul Moria for backing up last week's result with another strong performance. Paul qualified 4th on the night and took 4th in the A-Main, just a couple of seconds behind 3rd and 4th!
The C-Main had a good race between Olaf Bergmeier and Neil Johnson. Neil was faster, but his car developed a huge tweak with a couple of minutes left in the race. Olaf tracked him down and took the 2nd bump spot to the B-Main!
The B-Main also had a good race for 2nd, between Brian Ashmore and Matt Michaluk. Matt reeled in Brian a few times during the closing minutes, and it looked like he would challenge for the position, but a small bobble in the last 30 seconds ended his chances of an A-Main appearance. Shawn Zweers checked out and took the easy win.
Congrats to Glenn Armstrong for taking home 2nd in the A-Main, fending off Craig Roberts and Paul Moria. Nice work Glenn!

Saturday, February 4 2012 was the 10th official points race of IROCC's 2011/2012 Winter Season. We had a decent turnout with 21 entries in 12th Scale.
Congrats to Paul Moria for making the A-Main! Paul qualified 5th on the night and took the last slot in the A-group. Nice work Paul!
Nick Pridge got things done in the B-Main, leading wire-to-wire, and bumping up to the A-Main. In the A, Nick would finish 5th overall. Very impressive for his fourth 12 Scale race!
Continuing in the Nanaimo trend, Mike Mercer also had a good night finishing 3rd place in the B-Main!

Saturday, January 21 2012 was the 8th official points race of IROCC's 2011/2012 Winter Season. We had a small turnout with 16 entries in 12th Scale.
Congrats to Neil Johnson for a strong performance on the night. Neil qualified directly in the B-Main and ended up finishing 3rd in the main! Nice work Neil!

Saturday, December 17 2011 was the 7th official points race of IROCC's 2011/2012 Winter Season. We had a good turnout with 29 entries: 20 in 12th Scale, and 9 in WorldGT. This was the second WorldGT points night and so we ran a slightly more open track to accomodate the big cars.
Nick Pridge from Nanaimo ran his first 12th Scale night and did extremely well! Congrats Nick!
HUGE congrats to Jamie Surry for taking the A-Main win in 12th Scale! Jamie worked his way up to the leader Blake and took over the lead late in the race when Blake made a small error. Nice work Jamie!
Next up for IROCC is Speed Weekend Carpet Edition 2012, January 6-8 2012.
