Practice paying off
« on: November 02, 2014, 04:14:53 AM »
I'm loving being able to practice and see the results. I had a best 10.5 sec on Thursday practice, a 10.4 in a qualifier tonight, and a 10.3 in the main, and 8 consecutive laps in the second round of qualifying all around mid tens. That's never happened for me. Since I've raced with this club as time and money permits, I've always been 1-2 seconds slower.  I'm no Kevin Hebert, but I'm still pretty happy with those times coming down the way they are. Like Brian said, I just gotta smooth out my lines.

Take care all, see you around Christmas or Speed Weekend.

Track has a ton of grip right now. Runnin 9.2's and verge of traction rolling with my 12tg scale.. Might be time to think about changing the layout.

Haha, the track is still a ways away from being where most permanent tracks are.  You'll know we're there when you are saucing only 1/8" on your front tires, and when the TCs are traction rolling.

PS.  I ran Black/GreyLo last night.  Didn't turn the fastest single laps, but my car was very competitive.  So, I think this combo is as competitive as the Magenta/Greene setup now that we have some grip.
