I am in. I will be running spec wcics tires on both stock and mod 1/12.

Can we run a 12th stock car in mod class as well as stock? Just to get more track time......
I've only got the 1 car right now but an looking to run 12th stock and mod at a couple wcics races this season.

At this point I don't think so.  But there will be LOTS of practice time to run.

I think it would dependgreatly on the number of modcars. If there are few and all are lumped into 1 or at most two heats, the speed difference wont really be acceptable or fair for those looking for meaningful practice with modified.
When there are 4-5 heats you would get a pretty good filtering of laptimes but i wouldnt expect nearly so many mods.

Hey Jordy,

Does your ESC have boost/turbo?  *IF* we manage to get two heats of 12th Modified, I would guess that a boosted 13.5 might be a safe speed on the straightaway.

Or if my package does not come in by that time, you MIGHT be able to borrow my 3.5 for the day.  But it will be ungodly fast. So turn down the timing or undergear it. Unless you are used to the speed. But we will see if the rest of my electronics come in by than.

Yes I can boost my setup.....
 
I'm looking to set up another car by the race. I've got a 6.5 and esc I can use.
Just need a chassis (preferably an Associated 5.2.)and steering servo. I've got all the other parts.

On that note. Could I get a set of spec wcics 1/12th tires put aside for the race.

Thanks for the offer. But I can barely keep up with a 3.5 car while standing watching as a spectator....😀

Hey all,

Practice is underway at Matrix tonight (Friday).  A few travelers have arrived and have started getting used to the new carpet.

Doors open at 8:00AM on Saturday for more practice, and Q1 starrts at 11:30AM.

If you can't make Saturday, there will be two rounds of qualifying on Sunday, as well as Triple/Double mains.  Lots of racing all weekend!
