Was looking for some info on mixing Silicon oils together to come up with different values, and ran across this site. Has some other calcs too.

I thought you wanted pure castor oil due to its high temp resistance?

Well, castor oil is a good for some stuff, but I don't think its thick enough to work in my front diff.  ;)

I didn't build my serpent (bought it used), so when I am working with the setup I had no idea what type of oil was in the diffs. I assumed it was stock (80K front, 30K rear), but I wasn't sure.  So I bought some diff oil and refilled them, so I now know exactly what fluid is in them. Problem was shaver didn't have any 80K, so I bought 30K, and 120K.  Mixed the 120K and 30K to get close to an 80K.

As for fuel. I am still running 20% Blue Thunder Race (aka Smurf Piss).   Works well enough, and I can get it from Shaver.

Cheers,
Shawn.
