can a speed passion club race connect to a i pad? if not how do you program it?

You need to buy the reventon led/lcd program box, or program it by the beeps as per the manual. Only useful functions on it are punch and brake settings. If you baught a club car both are already set at their strongest. You could add a bit of drag brake but for stock all that does is make heat.

i got a s2 from blake and it is in blinky mode. when i looked at the manual it says that it can be tuned to produce a lot more power .i think i need a programming card or like you were saying

The manual covers the range of reventon escs which can be modifed to make.more power. Stockclub race doesn't have any software functions to increase power output such as timing or boost advance.
You could drop in a faster motor down to 8.5 turns but that would put the esc at 100% of its duty cycle. 
Its the perfect esc for 17.5 blinky racing being so simple yet reliable. If you wanted something with more adjustments, or to run modified you would want a reventon r or pro.

ya that sounds good this esc is good for this season of racing i plan on still racing with the novice class and than i might move up.
