The IROCC R/C club is pleased to announce PROTOform WCICS Round #5 in Victoria BC Canada.  Over the years we have been very fortunate to receive amazing support from racers all over North America and we are excited for another great event this year!

*** VERY IMPORTANT SCHEDULE NOTE ***
The new WCICS triple/double mains format requires more time to complete the main events compared to previous years.  Depending on turnout,  we *might* run the A1 mains on Saturday evening after qualifying is finished.  If this is deemed necessary, then we will also run several heats of Q1 (likely Mini and Touring Stock) on Friday evening to allow more time on Saturday.  As registration numbers firm up, we'll know if these schedule adjustments will be necessary or not.


Travel
The track location is very close to the Victoria airport (YYJ), the BC Ferry terminal (Swartz Bay), and the WA Ferry terminal (Anacortes->SidneyBC). All of these options are less than five minutes from the track and hotel. IROCC is offering a free shuttle service for those that are flying or walking-on the ferries.


Food
There are many restaurants, fast-food options, and grocery stores within one/two blocks of the track.

I have an older CRC 1/12th scale with motor, speed controller, servo and transponder. I also have some older batteries. It has an Spectrum Rx that I can supply a Tx to go with it or you can install your own. You will need to supply a body and tires to make it complete.

PS I have an X-ray T4 2013 touring car that you could us as well. It would need a body and you would have to buy the spec tires for the race.

Thanks Neil, I'll have a better idea of how much funding I can throw at this by the end of the month.  Not to mention, I'll have to find the time to get to Matrix for an evening to get the car dialed in.

I'm also looking for a Tc chassis to borrow if John doesn't take it. I'd like to get a 3rd class to run, the ctc class. I have my own esc radio and batteries. Also anyone have a 21.5t motor for borrow,or sale?

The body is a 1970 boss mustang, the same body I will be using but I plan on painting it different colors, it is a Parma part number 10141.

Hey all,

The track is open for practice on Wednesday and Thursday this week.  At 6:30PM on Thursday, we will tear down the track and pack everything into a trailer for transport to Sidney.  We need lots of people to be at Matrix at this time to help.

Track setup in Sidney will be Friday morning at 10AM at the Mary Winspear Centre.  We need as much help as possible for this.

You can see your overall standing in your mains by looking at the last main you ran.  The points totals are on the second page of the printout.
