So I'm mounting up a VTA/CTA body on my TC 6.2 and the front body posts aren't long enough. Any suggestions for aftermarket posts that might fit or even a mod I can use to make it work. I can't find anything online that will get me another 1/2" of height. The posts are an integral part of the front bumper system so I can't easily add a spacer underneath without modifying the whole front end.

Are your body post the stock lenght or have they been cut down. I had to buy new front posts for my X-ray T4 2013 as all the posts I have were cut down for touring cars and too short for the VTA body.

They are full height posts . I've seen extenders that fit on top but I'm not sure which ones would fit the car.

Hey Jordy,
The Xray front posts are quite long. Look at the top of this page:

They are probably the longest I've seen, but I'm not sure exactly how long. Neil might be able to measure an uncut one.

wow those look like the body posts that hsp uses for their touring cars.

Thanks Blake. I'll order up a set to try. Judging by the number of mounting holes I'll gain about 1/2" of height. Just enough to get the body level. Also looks like the bottom of the post should fit the A.E. hex bracket mount.

I have the 301323 post and they measure 75mm from the bottom of the hex to the top hole. The spec-r posts will fit my car as well.
