Tc4 build
« on: November 14, 2015, 02:57:21 AM »
Just thought I would post this for those who are into older rc's

For the last 5 months I have been working on a tc4 that I got from one of my bashing friends... It was in rough shape
It had a few broken parts like a striped spurr and stuff like that... After finding all the parts for the car and installing them I got the thing to run! This car is not any slug to.... On a 6 cell nimh on gearing good to run for a whole pack I was reaching over 30mph! And on 2s it was way more than that! The rebuild was a blast to do. But it showed how far tech has gone from than to now.
Here are the specs
15 turn double brushed hand wound copper wire motor.
60 amp brushed esc
A servo without a name...
It came with all this stuff and it all cost 40$. With all the spare parts the total for a running close to mod car is 82$ wow.....
Would I be able to run this in anything?

Change the motor to a 27turn brushed motor you could run it in stock. I might have one in y box you can have

That car could be the pace car for a true mod race..

My first car was a TC4 tuber. I have some brushed motors with some brushes and brush springs you can have. They are mostly 19 turn from when I ran Pro-10 but there is one 27 turn and one 27 turn armature that looks like it is new or it has a fresh com turn.
