Thank You Work Party Crew!

Thank you to everyone that came out on Sunday to help with the new track.  We accomplished quite a bit with the track itself and also getting the van reorganized.  With all the new boards and the driver's stand in the van, we're more able to setup a track anywhere now.

Huge thank you to Team Fantetti for bringing the water truck, Team Ashmore for bring the wood shop, and Team Lester/Ball for bringing all the scaffolding.

We're still trying to figure out how we'll spray this track.  Although it's only three parking stalls longer, it's quite a few more square feet to cover.

First race is Sunday May 25th.

Unfortunately no.

But the Fantetti's may have a water truck take a pass over the lot.

Thank you Neil!

Last night at racing we learned that our fellow racer Neil Johnson has made an incredibly generous donation to IROCC.

Not only has he contributed his entire fleet of race cars and supporting equipment to the club, he has also made an extremely large monetary donation well beyond anyone's expectations.

IROCC would like to thank Neil from the bottom of our hearts for his extraordinary generosity!

Final indoor club race this Saturday April 19th
This Saturday evening is our final club race of the indoor season.  Doors open at 4:00pm and track setup starts at 4:10pm.  All local racers are expected to help with track setup (reasonable exceptions are fine).

We will run a full race program with three qualifiers followed by the mains.  Make sure your cars are ready to go.

Summer Track Equipment
If anyone has room to store a PA speaker or two, and/or the rubber mats, that would be great.  We will need them for summer racing.

See you Saturday!

Great Race Night!
Thanks to everyone who made it out for racing on Saturday.  We had a nice turnout and lots of very tight racing.  Setup and teardown were both quick and efficient.  Thank you to everyone that goes the extra mile to make this process smooth.

Shoutout to Jay J for one of his better carpet TC performances.  He was mixing it up with the top group and ended up 4th overall, but with the quickest hot lap of the main.  Great work Jay!

Rob F had a good night in TC finding his way into the A-Main with a solid run in the B-Main.

12th Scale qualifying was super tight once again, with 5+ drivers qualifying within a 1.5 second window.  Dalyn gave us all a break by running another racer's car.  That said, he still had the second best hot lap in the main.

Sean B was once again running really well in 12th Scale and, with a little better luck, he might have had a chance at qualifying directly in the A-Main.  As it was, he got there the hard way.

Congrats to Ryan P for setting a personal best with his 12th Scale, 35 laps!  He wasn't that far off 36 either....  Great work Ryan!

Final Race Night is Saturday Apr 19
Our final indoor race of the season is in two weeks on Saturday Apr 19.  Doors open at 4:00PM.  We will run a full race program with three qualifiers followed by the mains.
