WTB: Electric 1/10th scale setup
« on: August 15, 2005, 03:33:28 AM »
I'm looking for either

a) a complete set up

b) a roller chasis.  I can probably dig up a radio/receiver/ESC/motor/battery

I have a friend who wants to race so he keeps buying raffel tickets - I'd like to see him out on the track.  I think the $600+ starting price tag of a new electric system is scaring him off a bit but if I can get a cheap starter system or a cheap roller I can probably convince him to come out.  He's been out to three races already - if he keeps holding out for the raffel I doubt we'll see him racing this year :(
Stryker - "This isn't about you, Logan. Your country needs you."
Logan - "I'm Canadian."

My buddy is now looking for about 400 OBO for his kit that he won in the last raffle.  All your friend will need is a 27t motor, racing tires and away he goes but I am sure you could set him up. PM me if you are interested.....

Hey grinder your friend can borrow my car right now if he wants to. He, or you just has to pick it up and get the little screw it is missing.
I just recently got an ims4 mini stock race car and geez, RC looks cheap right now but something has to give. I would really love to see my car out there racing than sitting on my shelf collecting dust because a race car is a race car, 1/10th scale or 1/1 scale.
My first race in the full size race car was a a week and 2 days ago, and I went out on the first practice session and broke! we got the car together barely in time for qualifying and it was micky moused and definatly not 100% but I went out dead last and ran a 20.05 time and qualified 14th out of 18 cars. The car held up and after a 40 lap main event I finished 10th out of 18 and was the fastest rookie.
I Am the youngest driver by 3 years and we beleive the youngest driver at western speedway ever.
sorry I rambled on but I am pretty excited.
ow the driver of the #77 ROSKO Racing IMS4 ministock race car. yes its fast, no you can't drive it

Robert,
I don't need to borrow a 1/10 scale but howabout a rip in your 1/1 on the track for an fellow IROCC member, because you know if your car isn't out running we would all hate to see it sitting somewhere collecting dust...LOL
