Title: Looking for the a new steering wheel for my M8
Post by: SgRddY on May 09, 2006, 04:33:30 PM
Does anyone know where I can find one of these?  Either a new steering or the foammy stuff to cover the steering wheel.  I have looked everywhere.

Thanks

No worries.  I have found some on ebay and horizon hobby.  Thanks.

Although it takes some time to get used to, a larger diameter wheel will afford better control.  I reccommend the Kimbrough knobbed wheel replacement (if they still make 'em).  This is what both Blake and I use.

Tom, I looked for the brand but I don't think that Kimbrough makes them anymore.  All they make now is spur gears.

If you are in need of help right away I once used a foam tire from a 12th scale car as a "quick fix". Just slap a little sho goo in there.

Oh WOW.... look at that.  That grip is something else.  Too bad I've just ordered a new steering wheel.  But I will keep that in mind.  Thanks Tom.

And JP, that is a good trick also.  Thanks for the tips.
