QuoteCalandra Racing Concepts changed the face 12th Scale racing with the release of the beautiful Gen-X racer. Tenth scale racers can now also have the same professional quality pan car as TeamCRC releases its new 10th scale racer the GenX10.
The GenX10 is the result of continuous refinement and product development at Calandra Racing Concepts. The GenX10 has it roots from CRC's previous 10th scale on-road racer the Pantoura, but this latest kit has undergone a revolutionary ground up redesign to produce a well-balanced, lightweight and adjustable Tenth scale racer, the GenX10. Move over Touring Cars and make room for CRC's Pro10 2WD Sports Car racer.
The the GenX10 also features:
- CRC's new Pro-Strut molded front end, best in the business
- New X-pod rear end, super low CG with "open pod" design that accepts brushed and bulky brushless motors with ease
- Bottom loading quick-change battery tray that fits any battery style, LiPo or NiMH
- Adjustable track width 200-235 mm
- Adjustable wheel-base (allows for tuning and setup for NASCAR bodies)
- Designed to fit 200 mm Sport Car bodies (such as the many HPI offereings) as well as race dedicated GTP bodies and NASCAR bodie
- 235 mm width rear-end optional parts will be available soon
- Flush mount transponder mounting system.
- Gorgeous design, ultra low CG and cetralized mass engineering

Cool car! I wonder why the narrow version? There are currently no narrow GTP bodies in production, just residuals. The Corally car has the option for narrow track and I have been offered to have the shell produced so who knows. Under the Pro10 thread on RCTech there are a few speculative posts about how to make the Pantoura a wide-track version so there would be plenty of bodies out there. Unless, that is, that the plan is to race touring car bodies.

Any ideas on the price? the Team CRC website says it should be shipping in March.
Shawn.
Wow. I guess I like this car so much I had to post the same message 3 times.
Here is the full article from the source (written by yours truely, so beware of dyslexic spelling mistakes). Price is less than 300 but actual retail still TBD. Will ship likely 1st week in March, it will be live on the CRC webstore first week of Feb.

Hey, Jody.
Does the new car come with tires? Thanks!
P.
love the slot for the transponder.
We will likely be able to get a small handful as soon as they come out.
If you want one (seriously) then private message me and we will reserve one for you. not sure on the price? 285 USD maybe?
Who looks like a visionary now huh?
You're welcome ;)

I would want to know if we are running 19t TC class 1st
no worries, some people wont care either way, we raced them enough last year to make it worth while and that was without an official class
You can always get one later direct from CRC
Yo, pan car racers,
The response for orders for the Gen10X has been a little busier than expected! Keep the private messages rolling in anyway and I will do my best to get as many cars as we need.
Victoria and Rome NY will be the first to get cars so there is a good chance that no one will have to be left out on the first order.
Thanks again for the interest!

i'd like to know if we are going to race 19 turn tc class or not so that i can order one of these sweet babbies.
Is the conversion kit to run 235mm going to be included with the kit? or is it an optional (extra) purchase?
Shawn.
