Hey all,
I've been getting lots of questions about the dates for Speed Weekend and Central Saanich Days this year. Here are the dates:
Speed Weekend 2008
July 12/13 2008
Central Saanich Days 2008
August 2/3 2008
Note that Speed Weekend will run as its usual two-day trophy race, while Central Saanich Days will likely operate as a regular club race on the Saturday (Aug 2nd), and a trophy race on the Sunday (Aug 3rd).
Feel free to pass these dates along to your connections in other clubs/cities.

Don't you mean the Canadian National Pro 10 Championship Aug 2-3?
We were going to wait for Mick's poster announcing the race, but we can't wait forever!
That would reduce the name confusion. . .

so if you don't have a pro 10 car don't bother showing up?

Not at all. The race will still be called Central Saanich Days (since it is sponsored by Central Saanich), and we'll be running all the normal classes. There *may* be a Pro-10 "Nats" component....

As Blake said: *may*
THATS why I haven't put up the poster, plus some of us have a life beyond this hobby...

With speed weekend only 7 race dates away will we be able to run 19t TC the 2 weekends before to try and get things set up?
thats what tuesdays are for
i agree that we should run touring 19 turn a week or two in advance
didnt we do that with pancar last year?
and what stop running pan? or just be out there till 9 or 10?
Maybe see how many there would be as I would not run stock on a 19tc race day. As for Tuesday nights it's just not the same without a track

well whats the difference between 19 and stock besides speed, both are touring.i dont think more than a couple hours on a tues to dial the car in would be needed. but i also think its a good idea see how many and put stock on the shelf, its only our flagship class
