Hello

The BC Shaver shop would like to know if any of us would like to buy fuel from them. Jeff says that they will get us Blue Thunder Race Blend, 20% for sure but 30% may also be an option and we can mix and match if it is an option.

I offered to be a liason to Jeff to give him an idea on how much we want if you guys want any. The price would be 40-45 or so. Potentially lower, due to our high dollar. Anyway it is an option.

If you are a Nitro guy/girl/gerry either post here or PM me if you are interested. Since there are not that many nitro-heads please let me know even if you are NOT interested so I can let Jeff know either way.

Peace

Dr. Speed

for sure,  I am good for at least 4-5 gallons, especially if it is $40-45  might buy that instead running the traxxas crap in our monster trucks too.

Uh Jeff is going to order it in for whoever needs it.  There wasn't enough guys to put a big order in so I didn't bother this year.  The Shaver Shop will order it in for you.

Does anyone know how long unopened jugs of this stuff will last?  I think I have an unopened jug from two years ago as well as some from last year.  Will the two year old stuff be ok to use?

Blake
I would run it.

As long as it was un openned and not sitting in direct sunlight it should be fine. I have run at least 1 year old fuel before.

The unopppened part is key. Methanol is super hygroscopic so moisture is the fuel killer. Nitromethane is a pretty energetic molecule obvioulsy but the sunlight trashing nitro isnt as big an issue as the methanol moisture problem. So if it was tightly sealed and hasn't discoloured, run it.

That vintage might even smell better!

yep nitro rocks. The smoke, the smell, the sound, nothing beats it (well except a 12th scale pan car)

So richard, I talked to Jeff and he will bring in a box or two of fuel. So please go down and buy a couple gallons when its in if you dont mind. I will purchase a couple as well. Jarrod "may" be in as well.

Peace
