It was a lot of fun running yesterday. The pancars are so fast it's scary And Hats off to Don who had his best racing in some time making it into the Pancar B-main. All we need to do now is get the heats rolling a bit sooner.

Totally epic race day! 60+ entries is incredible for a regular club race!
Huge thanks to Tom for running 90% of the races and keeping the schedule running as well as could be expected.
Big thanks to Brian for sacrificing the entire practice session to do race registration after the computer toasted.
Thanks to Gord as well for calling more than his fair share of races.
Nice work to all Pro10 drivers who got their feet wet in this new official class. I was really impressed at how everyone handled these rockets! 20 cars registered in Pro10... with more still to come!
See ya all next Sunday,
Blake
Any pics, video or setups? Newbie here and hoping to pick up the crc gen x 10. At the moment thinking of getting novak gtb with a 21.5 motor and run a lipo. Will be only practicing as the pan car class has not taken off here in Los Angeles but hoping to get one running and start practicing my driving skills. Would like to know what gearing and wheels everyone is using? I will be practicing at a nitro track but Saturday mornings there are not many guys so leaves the track to myself to get a handle of the car. Here is the track, maybe some recommendations on foams I should use.

Hello
Hopefully you can get a class going. Put a 19 turn or hotter motor in and you will be beating all of those nitro guys no problem!
Double pink or purple front, pink rear. Box stock setup. Doesnt need to be built wide but pick a raceworthy body if you really want to go fast and handle well.

Espresso the Pan cars are super fun but don't forget they are extremely nimble in comparison to a touring car electric or nitro. I think starting off with a 21.5 is a great idea to start as these cars can be difficult to drive but once you get the hang of them the performance is incredible.
Great idea playing with these cars. I sounds like the 10th Scale Pan car is poised for a strong come back. I know I'm having a blast with my Gen X 10 - who ever though I'd be worried about too much traction on the pavement!
Our roll out with the 10.5 brushless is somewhere around 48-52 mm rollout. Since the tire diameter changes with foam tires we use rollout rather than the gear ratio to figure out where we want to gear the car.
Its tough to say exactly what tires to run but if you've got a permanant facility and the traction is fairly high I think I'd start out with purple front/pink rears. That's what I'm running at our track right now and it works quite well. I have not had the rear end come out on me which is what I was worried about. Tire wear seems pretty good too (although looking inside the body with all the black foam inside you'd think the tire wear wasn't that great )
