Hey all,
The first outdoor race of the summer season will be Sunday April 26th 2009. We originally posted April 19th (and that may still be appearing on the website splash screen), but there is a Home Show in Colwood that weekend, and we cannot use the parking lot.
So, again, the first outdoor race of the summer season will be April 26th 2009. This will be a "non points" race, but we will still be running the full-on race program with three rounds of qualifying, and mains to follow.
Let's hope for good weather!
Have a nice couple of weeks off, and we'll see everyone in the parking lot on April 26th.

Changed on the front page and the calendar now.
Thanks Bruce. It'd also be cool to replace the carpet picture on the splash screen with an outdoor picture of some sort.
Blake
Nice job with the new splash screen Bruce! Thanks!

I was out at the parking lot today as their were no cars on the upper parking lot were we drive the cars.
the new black top section makes the nitro car leave the ground I would think all the cars will be jumping when the hit that section.
If its not raining on Sunday a few car go out a try out that new section of black top.

Did u find all your parts.I think after few race days it should flatten out
damn.. just read that its the 26th.. the one sunday i have off and were not even racin... :-X
Yep, there is a Home Show out there this weekend, so we were told we could not have the parking lot. I was sort of hoping it'd rain today.
See everyone in one week! Jarrod, I think you might be getting a cold sometime around Saturday evening....

I'm going to practice this after noon around 12:30 if the lot is empty again.

I just got a call from Gord. As of noon, the parking lot is empty. I am going out there now (noon) to say Hi.

Hey all,
The first outdoor race of the season is this Sunday! Here are some important reminders:
- Track setup will start at 9AM. Be there.
- Racing will be free this weekend, but we will be accepting your $20 Summer Membership fee.
- During registration we will be asking for your personal transponder numbers and your frequencies. "Same as my 12th Scale" is not good enough.
See ya all there,
Blake
so is the plan to run nitro first on each heat? if it is, it would free up a few pit guys.

Good question Gerry. My plan is to take registration, and then look to see what order makes the most sense. If we happen to have 10 Nitro racers then we'd have to divide into two heats which would change things a lot.

Hope it doesn't rain on you guys. It has been really hot down south. Sitting in Phoenix today and it has cooled down to 85F.
I don't want to jinx it, but the weather is looking pretty decent for tomorrow:
