Title: Canadian Tire Generator
Post by: BCbud on July 25, 2009, 12:26:43 AM
I buoght a GENmate 2 stroke 800w generator from Canadian Tire today on sale for $99.99! I brought it home, put some 50:1 fuel in it and it started on the 3rd pull. I plugged in my 250w soldering gun and turned it on and the rpm's hardly changed. It's not too noisy but if you are close and down wind you can smell the burning 2 stroke oil. I will bring it to the track on sunday so anyone who would like to check it out can do so.

Hi Neil

Bring a long extension cord as well as most of the guys put the Gens on the hill in front of Don's truck
just so you don't smell or hear them to much. I lock mine to the tree in front of were I pit

I read the reviews on the CT web site and it looks like you pick up a nice unit from CT
