Hopefully a bunch of you guys can make it to racing Friday night. Here's some info if you can.
We have a concession that sells the usual stuff (pop, chocolate bars, candy bags, popcorn, chips). We usually have pizza or hotdogs as well, but this Friday we're getting homemade BEEF DIP! Let me know if you're interested so the cook knows how much is needed.
It's only about an hour drive for you guys. We're on the south end of Nanaimo. After you pass the Airport, the next light you come to is Morden, turn left. Follow it to the 4-Way stop (200 meters) and you'll see the Firehall. We're in the gymnasium attached to it. Matt starts building the track at about 4:15, racing starts at 6:30. We usually finish about 10pm, but with extra people it'll probably be later.
We've got plenty of tables and chairs so don't bother packing any. We run a Robitronics timing system, but we're borrowing your AMB for the night. Bring you transponders with you. We run pretty much the same way as you do. Three Qualifiers, then the Mains. Our 18Rs race for 6 minutes and PanCars for 8 minutes. It's a small track, but it makes for some spectacular racing!

What about power tonia how long of a cord will I need
It's a small gym, so you won't need any crazy lenghts of cord, 20' should be plenty.

I know you said you are running the IROCC AMB system for the 12th scale but what about the Nanaimo 18r's .........as quite a lot of the Nanaimo racers will be set up for the Robotronics system?
Looking forward to seeing some of the guys from Victoria.
I'm now running my CRC GenX, so I will be chasing you guys for a place in the "F" main!

18Rs will still use the Robitronics system, same as always. It's only the PanCars that will use the AMB. See you Friday!
