Hey Danny,

At big races like that, the carpet is typically glued down to the subfloor.  Therefore, no duct tape is necessary.

Glued down eh.... wouldn't that ruin the floor? I'm sure they don't own the place their racing in.

they lay plywood down, then glue to that..i think..

Yep, Jarrod is right.

I remember a couple of times in Cleveland, the track would end up looking like a checker board with the seams between the 4x8 sheets of plywood sort "showing through" the carpet.
