Hey Nitro racers,
In honour of our good friend Jody returning for a visit this summer, we are going to run a special 5-race mini series for all Nitro racers. The series is called the "Keg Nitro Cup" and The Keg restaurant has graciously donated a $100 gift certificate to the winner of the series. This is how it will work:
The series race dates are: Jun 20, Jun 27, Jul 4, Jul 11, Jul 18 * There will be one throw-away race
Jul 11 is Speed Weekend. Out-of-towners will be removed from the quals/mains results, and then we will count the points for the Keg series. Note, points earned from Speed Weekend will count double toward the Keg series.

Saturday's are for weddings, Sunday's are for Racing!
Hey all Nitro racers,
Reminder that the first race in the Keg Nitro Cup is this Sunday! The good doctor will be in the house ready to temp at 300F and run some quick laps.
New Rule if you have to miss two races
I have added a new rule for those of you that might have to miss two out of the five races in the series. As mentioned above, there is one regular throwaway race. If you have to miss a second race, then we will take your WORST performance from the remaining three races, and use this as your points for your fourth race. This will help keep everyone in the points battle even if you have to miss two races.
*** Note, this rule was added to help those that are attending Gerry's wedding this Sunday and who may also miss another race in the series. I will be attending at least 4/5 of the races myself, so it does not benefit me.
See ya Sunday!
Blake
hey blake
Why don't we throw away the best race of the 5 that way everyone will be trying and the ones who miss also pay sort of speak. theres no pay to miss a race
Look out guys haddow is really fast in warm up and practice. As well he will be driving an ancient 720. So no high hopes he will finish a race. Lol

I am expecting a perfect points day.

Keg Nitro Cup drivers will be required to cough up $10 as entry into the series. We should be able to collect about $120 which will be divided into two $60 Keg gift certificates. These will be randomly drawn at the end of the series. Points will not matter, so everyone will have an equal opportunity. Also, the winner of the series will not be allowed to win the $60 prizes.
So far we have payment from the following people:
Craig, Rob, John, Bruce, Blake, Jody
