Title: Newb question
Post by: bubu1.0 on August 02, 2010, 04:45:57 AM
Ok now for some newb questions.
Do you follow ROAR rules to a T or is there any provisions that are allowed. If so what provisions do you allow in the TC class?
I am more curious on batteries do they have to be a ROAR approved? I know they have to be hardcase.

Good day!

Are you thinking about trying on road? Come out to the track on sunday and talk to some of the club members and we will guide you as to what to buy and set up.

Ok so you all probably seen it already the Xray T1 evo or FK not sure which one on Usedvic.
Question is, Is this a good chassis are there still parts support for this chassis and is worth investing into a 6yr old chassis? Or should I hold off and buy a better or more current chassis?

i used to have one of those.. it was a great car.. one of the best handling touring cars ive had.. parts arent as common to find as the newer t2 versions.. but still shouldnt be problem.. theres quite a few of them cars hangin around..

saw the add.. but cant think of whos car that would have been..1 of the bodies looks to be an older roberts paint job..

that should be a xray t1 fk'o4

Good day!

I am running the T1FK04 and realy like it. There are a couple of other club members that run it too. The batteries, motors and charger in the Used Victoria add are not worth too mutch as most drivers are using lipo and brushless and that is the way to go. A brushless motor is a tight fit in this car but it can be done.
