Good question.

What were most people using last year?  I used Jack the Gripper for the whole season I believe.  Did other people use Paragon for part of the season?  If so, then those two compounds must be "compatible" for the carpet because I don't remember any weird traction issues.

Jack the Gripper was nice because it was less smelly (although I'm sure just as toxic) than Paragon.

Should we do a club order of Jack the Gripper?

well i used paragon for the first couple of night then went to jack when it was avail.

I know I have no jack left.   but i do have a can new can of paragon that I pick up last week as I was planning on working on my pro 10 for the last couple of weeks.

If jack come in soon I can shelf the paragon and use strictly jack.

Yes, perhaps Phil and his Corally connections can help.

Hi all,

I just got off the phone with Corally USA and I have ordered 60 cans of Jack the Gripper.  Corally is giving us a very nice deal because they like to help out clubs.  I was very impressed with the person I dealt with and their attitude toward helping us out.

Jack the Gripper was very successful at our carpet track last winter and it is easily the most popular wash at ALL the big races in North America.  It might even be required at the Big Chill race.

Corally USA is expecting their shipment to arrive at their office by Friday this week, and they will ship immediately to us at that point.

The final price is not ironed out yet because I don't know the exact shipping and possible tax/duty cost yet.  We will be looking in the neighbourhood of $12 per can in our hands.

Not to fault the shaver shop, but let's try and avoid the Paragon.
How's that fence these days Gerry, still sitting on it or are you going to the Big Chill.

It stinks too mutch fo indoor.

Yeah, lately Paragon has become the red-headed stepchild of traction washes.  It is banned from all big races, and many club level tracks.  Even the Paragon holdouts in Cleveland dropped it by racer request.  Jack the Gripper is easily the most popular and accepted traction wash these days.  I like the idea of IROCC using Jack for its indoor racing and saving the Paragon for outdoor.

And yes, I'm sure Jack is equally bad for your brain as Paragon and all the other compounds out there.

Blake any word on the jack from Corally.

Oh to the guys going to the Big Chill,  the black can Paragon is banned there.  so jack is very important for the big chill.

I have to agree with Tom. It just smells like racin'!  Just like going to the real races and smelling high octane and burnt rubber!
