Title: Nitro Fuel
Post by: Shawn68z on April 09, 2011, 12:37:28 PM

Ok. I spoke with Matt last night and he is pretty swamped with gettig his 2 hobbies shops, and trying to get his outdoor track up and running.  He doesnt have the fuel instock.

So, what I am doing is making a list of what everyone wants. He saids Byrons is the easiest for him to get, but I believe he can also get o-donnels. He will  not know exact pricing until the fuel has been landed on the island, just that he will give us a "club" price, and it will be cheaper then any of the hobbies shops in the area.  I will be contacting him on Tuesday with the full order, either post it here what you want, or let me know at the track cleanup. I will be submitting the order on tuesday. He has told me he will have the fuel intime for the weekend, and I will be picking it up before sunday.  We might only receive HALF the order for this weekend, and the other half next week, or the week after that, but everyone will have fuel for the weekend.  List how many GALLONS of fuel you want, not cases. :-)

So since we need to place our order in three days I won't be in on this one but, does anyone know if Matt stocks the 20% fuel usually? I am going to use 20% this year but I can't get any with this rush order but was wondering if he stocks it or if I should just check here in town for dynamite again.

Matt does try to stock some 20% and 30% at the store.  But, with summer coming who knows on the inventory.    I know this is pretty quick, but the season is coming quickly now.   Shaver also tries to keep some 20 and 30 of the smurf piss in stock.

"smurf piss" has kept every motor I have ever run going so buying a name does not appeal to me in the least. When you take an engine apart and everything is good it works for me. Just don't ask Trevor about me and engines lol.

OK. Good and Bad news. Mostly bad.

Matt will be unable to get Byrons until the first or second week of May.  So the fuel order will not be submitted until Matt can confirm that he will have fuel available. When Byrons becomes available he will get hold of me, and we can put another order together if someone would like to still order from him. Matt says he will be stocking Byrons, and will be able to supply fuel by the gallon, at a club price.

Good news, the fuel will be fresh.

Sorry for the bad news folks, I guess the race is on to shaver to see if they have received their order of smurf piss!

Shawn.

If we are going back that far let's bring up nitro tires from last year that was priceless too, well not so much priceless as pricey lmao.  :P :P Sounds like a reply from a previous member was that Chris M writing that. Maybe it's a navy thing.

PS I think its funny when "Veterans" blow a motor due to bad tuning and blame it on the fuel, or blow the setup and blame it on tires...., Just sayin' LOL

To bad Arch doesnt own a nitro car.... cuz he'd post and together with our comments we could probably get this thread locked! lOL

I dont know john, I am starting to think a TC3 Nitro would be the way to go. Motor blows, you just buy a new car.
