Title: Thinking of getting back into 12th scale
Post by: cheifman on October 09, 2011, 02:24:10 PM
Hi..I am thinking of getting back into 12th scale. The last time i ran carpet the 12L was a good car and i still have it. I am looking at a crc but was wondering what servo it runs and what battery it runs. I have a AMB transponder they use at nrc offroad will this work? Thanks.

Yes it will

We use a 1 cell lipo so as long as the car is not a T-bar car you should be able to fit it in. like the photo below

these also come with Deans plugs

as for the servo all most any mini 1/12 scale servo the CRC cars like the JR3650 as a drop in servo but others will work

Hey Cheifman it's Glenn here

I have a spare bit older airtronics 94145 servo you could use till you get one. It's not digital bit it will get ya started till ya get a better one should you chose to do so. I use an airtronics 94819 right now. It's a digital one not as much torque as the JR one but it's faster. Cant wait to see ya out.
