here's a link I found http://www.rccaraction.com/blog/2011/10/08/iic-2011-%E2%80%93-crc-new-releases/ (http://www.rccaraction.com/blog/2011/10/08/iic-2011-%E2%80%93-crc-new-releases/)
Looks like it has the 1/8" front axle insted of the 3/16, that's kool.
Neil.
Yes, the new car comes with 1/8" axles. I have two samples if anyone wants to see them. I will have them with me at the first race-night this Saturday.
The new car also supports standard OR inline battery placement. You will need CRC's new "Stubby" battery to run the pack inline.

Is that the new car that Craig has brought in this year? I guess what I'm asking, is that what my new car looks like?
Yes, when Craig's cars arrive, they will be the new car. CRC is not shipping any of the older model anymore. Not sure what the ETA is for the new car to Victoria... but I think we'll be near the top of the list.

$220ish after shipping. Shipping is pricey!
That's a good price.
Get a Serpent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is for John the Serpent S120LT $270.00 at Stormer Hobbies

I do like the look of the serpent car..very cool
Wooooo, and where are parts available from for the Serpent? There is nothing worse than breaking your new car on the first night and NO ONE else having a replacement piece to fix it with!
that serpent IS sexy.. little pricey, though as if ill be any better off with my 5.1 and THEN the lipo conversion for it ha.
nice to be able to bum parts if needed but not very expensive to be prepared with this class so far. I paid $50 to get two of every front end peice for my associated.
think its funny though that others have followed the inline concept, though crc only works if you buy their own battery ha.

From CRC's press release:
QuoteAnd for those of you who must run the standard 1s battery lengthwise, yes, it will fit, both right down the center and offset to one side.
So, it sounds like a full size 1s pack will fit down the center, and then you'd put the ESC and Rx on either side of it.

and now for the Xray X12 with a center mount battery
