Yes I saw that and that is why I am asking. We have folowed ROAR rules in the past for weight and as far as I could find ROAR is 1420. WCICS rules for 2012/13 is 1380, are we now going to folow the WCICS rules or is there a newer set of ROAR rules that I have not found? I just want to have my car close  for the last 2 races befor Speed Weekend so I can adjust the car to my limited driving skills lol!

Never mind, my failing memory is working well, it was 1380 last year.

I believe that corresponded to the switch from Ni to Li batteries.

dont think that 40 grams would make a big difference with brushless. id just worry about balancing the car. last year my car was like 1550 just to balance with lipo. 1400 at speed weekend with some mods to the chassis.
maybe less shoegoo on my next body ha.

You are right, it probably will not make a differance especially with my driving skill level. I like working on the cars as mutch as racing them. With that said, I have my car perfectly ballanced left to right with no added weiight and it weights in at 1378. Not bad forr an old T1!

i dont really see anything wrong with the driver neil. you drive a clean line and are pretty consistant. which also reflects well on how well you take care of your stuff =).

you are lucky to have it balanced with no added weight. took 60 odd grams to get my tc5 to balance with a 5000mah lipo. this is after drilling new holes and moving the motor mount inboard 7 mm. had to flip the pinion around and had it flapping against the belt but it worked!

you should see my bench lol. always a car or two on it and various parts. wife might leave me. and ive only been in on it a year lol... i better not get into offroad.
