Hey Gord, Can you post the poster for this. I can't figure out how to do it.
Thanks!
The entries are being capped at 120 due to time restraints. Soooo, get your registrations in by the end of this week (Friday). If I have any spots left at that point I'm going to invite the racers from the Mainland out.
Sorry for the short notice.

FYI it will conflict if the QA is confirmed
Aug 19 - Raceday (Likely at the Queen Alexandra Children's Hospital)

You can post on here too, I'll keep on eye on the thread.
We'd have picked another weekend if we could have :(
Unfortunately it does conflict. We have confirmed with QA. Too bad I was hoping to do the offroad thing at least one more time this year.
I was hoping to attend this one as well but QA comes first.
I also would like to race with the NRC guys but QA does come first. I would have thought that NRC and IROCC would have had a meeting about the season and coordiated there races so that both clubs would support each other. To bad maybe next time we can have a meeting.
Hey Tonia is there still room for me I have a SC 2WD and a stadium truck 2WD ?? I would normally do QA that weekend but we start our holidays on the 16th. We are at Coombs for a couple of days so it would be perfect. If there is room for me I will book 1 more day and change Saratoga Beach and push it back 1 day. I will have to bring my RV on Sunday, I hope there will be room to park it and I will have to leave as soon as I am done racing. Thanks Don
PS you already have my transponder numbers in your computer, I will send the numbers if required. :-[ :-[

It has nothing to do with lack of communication between the clubs. Both events are tied directly to community events that happen to fall on the same weekend. There was no way around it this year.

Nobody panic, there is plenty of dirt to go around!
We have another trophy race in September, the WABITEOSWBORJ (What A Bummer It's The End Of Summer Wham Bam Offroad Jam). Dates are still being worked out for that one. RCTV from OLN is going to be in town for a week in September so I'm going to try to arrange it around their schedule. When I find out the date I'll let everyone know.

Hi Don,
Still got room for you, I don't need your transponder #'s.
As far as the trailer goes, you're more than welcome to park it in our track area. The race is not here though, it's at the VIEX in Nanaimo. I think they do have very limited space for RV's but I'm sure they're booked up already.
rctv AWESOME.
almost wanna get a truck to come up for that one....
September sucks too, I am gone for the whole month. Hopefully I can get a couple more Thurs. nites in.
I'm just disappointed that I can't go there race.
http://www.viex.ca/directions_vancouver_island_exhibition.html is the race part of the fair as parking looks like it will be an issue. what part of this area are you going to be in and will it ba accessable to vehicles?
whats the rule on shortcorse wheels? Are 1/8scale buggy wheels ok or is that cheating.lol
I am 99% sure its against the rules, you wouldn't think it but they give a large performance gain over SC wheels, plus they don't look scale.
Yes its part of the fair. And im sure it will be some kind of issuie for getting parked and to and from your vehicle. Im gonna go in an talk with matt or tonya tomorow and get the scoop. Ill let ya know what the deal is

Subject: question
Hi I was wondering about the in and out rules for this I understand we need
to have all of our gear dropped off by 8am on Sat but what time are we
allowed to come back in to pack it up on Sat
I'm going to be racing in the RC Car exhibit.
Gorden
QuoteThere are no Vehicles allowed on grounds after 8am. When you're finished on
Saturday we have a gator that can take your stuff to the Exhibitors Gate .
