Post by: BCbud on October 10, 2012, 10:10:30 PM
I am looking forword to trying out my 17.5 Turnigy TrackStar motor in my 1/12th scale this weekend. It will be interesting to see how it works out. There is a thread on RC-tech about them.

I have been watching those motors ever since they came out, they look to be Reedy sonic knock off's. Will be very interesting to see how it performs vs others.

That sure does look like a reedy ha. i might have to pick one of those up to try in mine too. wanted to get a reedy 17.5 though if its anything like my reedy 13.5, you might need to experiment with different rotors to get the best of it.

The motor ran well last night , no hotter than 140 after 8 min. I will get a little more agressive with the speedo settings next time out and see how it likes it.
