Roadtrip 1: WCICS Kamloops, Mar 7-9
Leave: 9AM ferry on Friday March 7
Return: 9PM ferry on Sunday March 9
Transport: Blake's van or/and Daryl's truck
Hotel: Three rooms already reserved at Howard Johnson, two mins from track, and 30 seconds from Earls. $77/night before tax. Two beds in each room.
Rules: Exact same WCICS rules as we already used
Costs: Ferry ($60/person) + Hotel (above) + Gas (roughly $30/person) + Entry (probably $35 + $20) + Food

Sounds good Shawn. We *should* be home on Sunday night, so you technically would not need Monday off work. If we miss the 9PM ferry, there is always the 10:45PM to Duke Point.

Hate to say it but only room for 5 in the truck. If there are more, then we will need a second vehicle.
I think Jamie and I are going to try to make it to this race..For me it depends on if I am still working at home. Might be out of town.. Hope to make it..

Looks like the track won't open until 3PM - 4PM ish on Friday for practice. So, we can get away with the 9AM boat I would think, and then grab a late BP lunch when arriving in Kamloops.
This is the lineup so far. Possibly looking at two vehicles....

Haven't heard anything from VIHA, so I am pretty positive about going. Not too positive about Barb's hip replacement happening till April or May, though.
So something has come up now for work and I won't be able to go to Kamloops.
Looks like you guys have an odd number for rooms... let me know if someone is looking to split a room. I may not make it till Saturday Morning... Let me know... Friday is still a possibility but not till after 5pm leaving Vancouver for me.

Josh is looking for a room mate too. I told him that we'd find some floorspace for him in our rooms if he's desperate. But... if you are coming for both nights, maybe you could room with him? I can try to add an extra room at our hotel (Howard Johnson near the track) if you want.

Ryan, the weather looks better on the "Coke" than it has in 2 weeks. Aren't Keith and Nospoom heading up?

Sorry, but it doesn't look like I am going to make it.. I am running hours behind tonight and I still have to many things to accomplish. There is no way I am going to be ready to leave in the morning.
