Neil.
is that good or bad?
so does that mean we can use batteries without the label?

Yes. The main rule is now simply: "Li-Poly battery packs must have a hard, protective case as per ROAR 8.3.2.2".

aaaaa ok.
my question is, why all of a sudden abandon roar, and why only batteries??.
Well, now that ROAR does not require a label on the battery, it would be hard to tech each battery since there are so many on the ROAR list. You'd have to look at the battery label, and then scan the list to find it. Not really feasible at the tech table.

Glad to see some freedom in that regards. Wont stop me from buying ROAR batteries though. Some clubs, (esp in the states) still require the battery be ROAR approved.
Saying that I might have to order acouple of these... Dont know what happened to the 7000 pack they had acouple of weeks ago. (nonRoar).
