Title: 2018/19 Touring car
Post by: ChrisS on August 17, 2018, 11:54:55 PM
Good evening guys,

Just wondering if TC stock will remain at 17.5 or switching to 21.5 for this coming indoor season?

Thinking of getting more stick time and racing both onroad and offroad.

Hi Chris,

We'll most likely be switching TC Stock to 21.5 this fall to align with the rest of Canada and USA.  I'm currently looking into a bulk buy of club motors for both TC and 12th.  I am happy to sell them at my cost if it makes it easier to get everyone into the new motors and on an even playing field.

Stay tuned.

Thanks,
Blake

Yes Scale Spec stays at 21.5 as that is the standard across North America for USGT/ScaleSpec.

At first it seems weird to have both TC Stock and Scale Spec both using 21.5 motors, but that is the standard setup.  The benefit is a driver can run both TC Stock and Scale Spec with just one chassis - simply change tires and body between heats.
