Ken, it's ok dude, you can use the one I bought until the Shaver Shop gets a couple more of the discharger trays in. :-) Which hopefully, won't be long!

Are most guys discharging with the much more or the integy?
With that what amp discharge are you getting with the chosen tray?

A lot of guys use their Victor chargers to discharge their batteries.

A discharge tray is the most basic circuit ever.  Basically it just puts a fixed load across each individual cell.  The reason they have a load for each additional cell is that if you run the batteries too low in series there is the potential to reverse the voltage on a cell = bad.  It is usually just a power resistor that limits the current.  Some have lights or a volt meter but they all do the same basic thing.  The Integy and Much More are likely the same physically and just relabeled.

There are a few common discharge trays.  The one I use is a 6A discharge.  There are also 20 or 30A trays and even dead short trays (the battery should be nearly flat to use a dead short).  Basically using a heavy discharge rate will give you more punch and less battery longevity.  The best way I think is to discharge the battery in the car then when its flat put it on the 6A tray to bring it right down.  I wait until the battery itself is cool (the resistors will cool off first) which is usually about an hour after its flat in the car.  If you can't use all the battery up you can use a bulb discharger (bunch of bulbs in parallel) to bring it down or I just put it on my 6A tray and use my 10A discharge on my charger which puts a decent load on it.

Using a tray to discharge keeps the batteries healthy by keeping the cells more evenly matched.  Healthy batteries means more power and longer run times (not that run times are usually an issue for us).

DOG BALL!  The infamous Victoria IROCC driver....

No problem - you build the jigs and I'll solder in the resistors.  You just need to machine up some posts and cut out the trays.  You can use mine as a template if you want.  The 6A ones aren't a big deal since you can use 5W resistors but I think if you want to do 30A you are gonna need a 25W which is bigger/more expensive...
