Here's a hint - there is more info.... I'll let ya know tomorow night....
Kurk,
By tomorrow night you mean Tuesday evening practice at the park and ride!!? With the supposed change over in the season I have no 1/10 scale car to race with, my /12 scale is together more so than my 1/10 car and that being said if I only had a handout club motor I would be laughing..
So about that info due tell.............................

Pull your shelf queen prize car out and lets go racing :)
To those in power,
Apparently we are racing this Saturday evening.....
Where and when. Does anything need to be done to the equipment that has been sittting over the winter to get things ready?

well its wed and we just found out yesterday that beaver lake....... isnt even big enough.................so i wouldnt count on this sat as it seems either everyone doesnt like the idea of sook beacause its hard to get new racers(witch i dont recall sanich ever bringing in new racers) or they dont like the boys n girls club cuz the area isnt the best part of town and its tought getting parking...............so i would be willing to bet racing will be put off untill next sat when we can get into sanich........(where i would be willing to bet we could end up getting stuck there as no one will ever just settle on a place they keep saying they are looking but im sure we will never find a place to make everyone happy)
I'll bet we still race saturday, 10 buck wager anyone?
I think whether sooke, Saanich or the boys and girls club we will never please everyone. I would suggest that we have a poll or a vote on the locations in question. The way I look at it, the drive is always going to be a distance and therefore an issue for someone. Not having raced indoors I can not say either way if location is going to attract new racers or not. My vote has us going to Sooke, living in Langford I am probably 1/2 way between both it just sounds that with the availability, price and storage Sooke could be worth a try.

well as i have said i dont care where either............i just wish someone with the power would make a decision........either way
Aah, it's quite entertaining to see the endless speculation. I'm looking forward to seeing the reaction to the official announcement; it's like Christmas morning.
Hehe.... yes the tizzy was entertaining on Tuesday eve as well. Stinks about Beaver Lake being too small. Oh well it will all work out in the end - in a few weeks we'll wonder what the fuss was all about....

Decisions have been made, and more are being made as we speak. You should be happy you are not burdened with the responsibility of partcipating in the decisions determining the fate of the best R/C club around.
As was said weeks ago, we'll let everyone know as soon as details are confirmed.
Why is Mr. Doug always so pessimistic ? Try offering something constructive once in a while....

Parking is street parking. There should be plenty of parking on either side of Yates Street, either side of Camosun Street, or across the street at Central School. You may pull over in the little "lane" leading up to the gym to drop your stuff off.
The Boys and Girls Club has been very gracious in offering us temporary free storage for our dolly until we decide if their facility will work for us. So, we'll see how things go on Saturday night, and if it's positive we'll get a work party together to build a simple storage shed.
I'll see everyone this Saturday at 4PM or slightly earlier if possible. It might be good to show up around 3:30PM on this first night so that we'll have a little extra time with the initial setup.
Note: Bring your summer racing table/chair as there may not be many (or any) tables available to us.
Let's go racing!

well if i had that burden..........the decision would have been made along time ago without all the waiting to see if we could get a gym that wasnt even big enough......................but as i have said i just wanted a decision one way or another and well we got it ...........as far as being pessimistic ,i may be but it usually comes after waiting and waiting and waiting with more than enough constructive ideas around that usually dont matter to the powers that be.....................i just think .............well i guess it really doesnt matter what i think as we are racing this saturday and we'll settle it on the track!
