Hey, all.
After setting up the first Mini-Z circuit (approx 1.5 Hrs for me alone) Brian Ashmore and I had a hoot the other nite giving it a test. It's fun! The boards are foam so the only damage that you can cause is by hitting another car. It was an absolute hoot. The batteries run 20-30 minutes and the racing is close and fast with the stock setup. Rubber works all of the way around if you use a little compound, but foam in the rear works best of all.
So, please email me at Phil@CLSWEST.com if you are interested in getting together and I will send you directions to my place if you haven't already been here. I took the track down for the week (45 minutes) but I will be setting it up again on Monday night for a few days. If you are interested, I will likely open the track on Tuesday night but only if there is an expression of interest. Please do let me know. BTW, the only thing that you'll need to bring is your car, batteries and your radio. I have elverything else (chargers, compound, tools, spares etc) here. I look forward to it.

......the race is on........
Hey, Guys.
I actually tried my M18 on the track and it's a handful considering it has a Mamba in it! Foam tires are the only way that you can get the power to the ground. It also runs for approx 20 minutes so it's really good at building up your reflexes. I am thinking about taking the brushless out and put the stock back in such that we can go toe to toe with the 1/18 scale. Brian A has one as well.
Re: the track, I'm setting it up again this Sunday and will likely have a fun night next Tuesday if that suits. I also have a loaner if someone wants to try it out. Please email me (not PM) since I travel so much : Phil@CLSWEST.com.
Ciao.
