Hey Cody.  the best person would be to send Kurt a message.  As he has one9nicely done up too).  Or ask dave payne.  you would get the best answer from them

The E-Maxx is an awesome truck but its easier to break because its so big plus it uses two sets of batteries.  I'd start off with a Traxxas Stampede - still a wicked fun little truck and there is lots you can do to it to make it near bullet proof.  There are videos of guys jumping them of 7 - 8' drops repeatedly no problems.  They are $220 at www.hobbywholesale.com which is in Edmonton - they ship in like three days and you only pay very cheap shipping (most of my stuff is $5) and GST - no PST.

I've also got an RC18T which is a really tough and a very fun truck to drive - it just doesn't have the same clearance so it can't drive in the same sort of terrain.  I've also got a B3 buggy which I just started messing around with - it rips too and the batteries seem to last forever.  More for off road racing though...
