Hi, I am havin troubles starting my Nitro. I was wondering if you vould help. I pull the pulstart again and again until my arm is sore. NOTHING! The fuel tubbing seems ok, the glow plug ok but when i turn the flywheel with my finger I hear a grinding sound could it be time for a new piston and sleeve or could it be dirt. HELP!
well you definatly should not hear any kind of grinding sounds if you turn it buy hand or otherwise
How do you know the glow plug is OK? They can LOOK ok but that doesn't mean they are... try a new glow plug first. Set the carb up to the default position to get a starting position...
Well, I guess Nitro just isn't just for me... I have decided to sell it and buy an electric o well... What should I get a stadium truck or an onroad sedan?
Depends on if you want to race or not.
We run 1/10 scale touring cars during the summer, starting this year on April 30th. There has been no organized off-road racing in Victoria for over 10 years.
Most people get far more enjoyment out of their R/C stuff when they race rather than just playing; the novelty of playing does wear off.
Agreed. I'd hate to get rid of my off-road stuff 'cause its still a blast to rip around with but racing is definately where its at!!!
Ok I will probably get a TC4 sedan RTR or something probably will join the club this summer never know...
if u want a rtr tc4 then pm the handl RYY he still has one for sale and i think he askign for 250
Electric is definately the way to start.... as I'm sure you know... I'd highly recomend getting a decent used one then go from there...
yes, get a hold of ryan (RYY) he has exactly what you need and for a good price.
Ryan is sold out of TC4's
So hes sold out of TC4's? well I think after I sell my nitro I will have enough money to by the electric.
Thanks guys!
