Thats the average price an '04 goes for as a rolling chasis.  More details - does it come with anything?  Is it the plastic tub, etc?

It's an atlas chassis ran for half of the past summer, it was handling pretty good swithed over to xray. got upgraded aluminum steering bellcranks, and custom made alluminum top deck and shock towers as long as the stock ones, the front shock tower got broke when a corner marshall steped on it, nothin else was affected, chassis in good condition, nothing else ever broken. not to many scratches on the bottom. it was never run before i got it, so it has only been run for about 2 months. freshly rebuilt shocks, comes with the instructions. Asking 150.00 but I don't know if that is a good deal or not?  Cody

sooo is it an xray or atlas?

if its a atlas, parts might be a problem, which would explain the custom made stuff.

my 2 cents

that would be a hard car for a top racer to maintain let alone a less experienced guy, the custom parts probably mean that the previous owner could not find re-placment parts for the ones he/she broke. it would be better for you to get a cheap car that can take lots of abuse and keep rolling. I personally am going to be run the cheapest car available, a tc3, they may be old but at one point 4 out of every 5 club members seemed to own one so there are tons of parts and even cars available. Insted of paying 150 plus electronics and the pain in the ass of a having a car no one knows how to work on. get a car that lots of people now how to work on and is cheap to buy. you can pick up a tc3(rolling chasis, no electronics) for between 50-75 dollars.

just my opinion.

Hi, Guys.

This conversation should be in a different thread, folks

Regarding the Atlas that you are asking about, Cody, it's an older version of an exotic car essentially made for club racing in Japan (Miwa). I raced the team version last year and I bought all my spares up front. Parts for the car that you are after can be bought online at Integy or from Atlas directly but they are slow and even more expensive in my experience.

The version that I have (YM-34 Type-T) is an excellent car for sure abut it is quite different than the older version Jarrod is selling. Ken Chan in Vancouver also has one for sale so there may be parts available in Vancouver but  I can't say for sure. In any event, I would consider parts accessibility a major issue if you plan to race every weekend since parts are VERY slow in getting here (sometimes up to a month or more).

the only part i made that i actually needed was a front shock tower, because at the time i didnt have the money for it and i didnt feel like ordering, and paying the shipping from van for 1 small part, the one i made works great. i only made the other ones because i was bored one day. i ordered a wack of parts for it out of van(but i lost them because they were in the original box for the car, and the box is now gone)  it didnt take all that long and its not as expensive as people are making it seem, i ordered from competition R/C in van.

heres integy page for the parts.    http://integy.automated-shops.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/st_main.html?p_catid=20

heres competition rc  http://www.competition-rc.com/

im open to offers on it
