I have finially started rebuilding my T2 I received, and noticed the diffs were not working as well as they should, so i pulled them apart, and there is no lube at all in them.    Is the Associated Diff Lube (non stealth) good to use in the aluminum T2 diffs? or is there something better I should use?

Thanks,
Shawn.

I like using the Stealth diff lube on the diffs, and the black grease on the thrust bearings.

There's nothing too special about this combination of two greases that comprise the Associated Stealth diff lube -- the clear goo is just silicone grease, and the black stuff is just molybdenum grease.

The Associated Diff Lube (non stealth) is essentially the same as the Associated Stealth clear goo I mentioned above.

It would be good to use something with better lubricating qualities on the thrust bearing, but a slippery substance on the diff part will just promote slipping, which will just cause everything to overheat and melt.

You guys have to try the Corally lube. I find it's viscocity and characteristics completely different than the Associated products. I find it builds a smoother but tighter diff. Mind you Corally also has the funky o-rongs behind the diff washers, but even on the track the car just simply feels and works in a different manner. More consistent it seems. I have an extra container if anyone wants to try it.
