Hey, Guys.

I have been looking for an inexpensive, flexible charger and came across this one. We are thinking about bringing a few in. If anyone is interested, please shoot me a PM and let me know. Cost is not yet available but from what we see on the distributor list, it's very affordable.

Thunder Power RC has released the TP610C, their newest LiPo, A123, NiCd/MH and PB battery charger. The TP 610C charger can charge 1 to 6 LiPo and A123 cells, 1-14 NiCd and NiMH cells, and 6-12V Pb (Lead Acid) batteries. The Thunder Power TP-610C can charge, balance, discharge and cycle batteries and report back full data. The TP610 charger is capable of up to 10 amps (80 watts total) when charging. Using the TP 610 charger to cycle your battery packs will improve their performance, and the TP-610 charger's built-in balancer will extend the life of your lithium packs!

Hi, everyone.

Several of you have expressed interest in the charger which is great. I have read and re-read various forums and manuals and I can't find a criticism of the charger for our applications. For those who use more than 6 cell LiPos, there is a limit, but not in our scenario as far as I can tell. If anyone has any comment on this product, please let me know.

After speaking with the distributor, our price is $129.99 plus taxes for the charger (they will ship to us free!). For those who have asked for the charger, I will add you to the order. For those who are interested but have not yet sent me a PM, I'll be ordering these up on Wednesday. After chatting with Trent we've decided to hold a couple in inventory as well. The built in balance feature and higher charge capacity are the big bonuses. Hard to believe that the cost is so low when you consider what we are used to paying for other chargers! We particularly like the forward thinking properties built in.

Hi, Guys.

The chargers were shipped from Saskatoon today! They may well be here by Friday and if so, I will let you know on this thread Friday afternoon. I also ordered up a half-dozen LiPo charging sacks for our inventory as well. PM if interested. Thanks!

Hey, Race Fans.

The chargers have arrived! That was incredibly fast. They are the sweetest looking charger I've seen yet. Very small footprint to boot. Nice anodized red flavor ... mmmmmm red ...

I'll be at the track around 4:30 on Saturday to hand off. PM if you have questions.

Hey Phil can you come by later that way there isnt 12 guys not helping with the track lay out.You know we would normally have six guys watching anyways.

RC51

No, sorry, I can't. I have commitments before and after that time. I need to be gone by 4:45 and this is the only window I have for delivery.

Hi, Guys.

Well, these little chargers have turned out to be great so far! So, I will be bringing in a few more - maybe in time for this weekend.

For those of you who had been looking for a cable adapter for the TrakPower  batteries, Trent has received the parts and will be making some of those up this weekend.

Well, from what Mick, Brian and I can tell, these little chargers are excellent. The were great in the pits today and effortless to use. The only thing I will try to track down is either a longer cable from the charger to the balancer or a longer patch cable from the battery to the balancer (preferred). If I find one I'll post here. I will be placing another order for this charger this week.

Hi, Guys.

Two IROCCers have asked for a Thunder Power Charger on the next order. It's going in on Tuesday so if you would like one, please PM me since this will be the last Thunder Power order for a while.

Thanks!

Hi, Guys.

As an update for you, the TP610C was backordered at the importer and is due to arrive in their shop either today or Monday. They will turn them around quickly and I am told we should have them mid to end week next week since they are shipped from Saskatoon. I'll post here when they arrive.

Thanks!

Update: Just heard from the distributor and after the hiccups they ran into at the border, the revised arrival at their location is May 14-16. They will turn them around to us the day they arrive in their hands.

Hi, Guys.

I just received a shipping notification that the chargers have been shipped to us from Saskatoon. They may be here as early as tomorrow (Tuesday) in which case I'll post here. If you would like to have the chargers prior to the weekend, please do let me know and we can arrange a time to hook up. If not, we'll just hand off on the weekend.
