Although there has only been one official race, I was wondering if there seemed to be any advantage for the wider 235mm setup in Pro10?

I'd say its too early to tell and we really won't have conclusive evidence one way or the other until there can be made a reliable source of GTP style bodies for the 200mm cars.

Theory states it *should* be better...

Yes in theory a wider car should handle a better, but I'm just wondering if that theory would apply to the 35mm difference in such a small vehicle. It will be interesting to find out if there is an advantage for 235mm.

I don't have a body yet for my pan car, that is why I'm wondering.

i have run both 200 and 235 and i have so far done better with the 200 and i dont think it has anything to do with the width of the car ,as i cant  think of one noticable difference between the 2 i have (width wise)

Well, theory says 235 should be faster in the corners and 200 should be faster on the straight.

Which is better overall would, theoretically, depend on the track layout.

The 1st place car was a 235, and the 2nd place car was a 200 this past weekend.  But, the 1st place car was also a LiPo, vs. a 3300 NiMH in the 2nd place car, and that and the 100 or so gram difference was I'm sure a bigger influence than the width

Are you whining already, Tom. Or just laughing at the guys running Lipo against your 3300.
