what are the chances that setting up a live feed with a web cam for our races or just a video camera so we can watch some of the races. It would be cool to have a weekly video.....

A live feed is going to be tough without a decent internet connection onsite unfortunately.  Not sure what a cell air card in a laptop might be able to handle for video streaming in an upward direction....  Perhaps some of our IROCC "techs" can chime in on that one.

Anyone with a video camera is more than welcome to record some footage.  Probably 25% of the club has the hardware and know-how to digitize the footage to online formats like YouTube.

It would be cool!  A live feed would be really neat for our big races!

The website can handle it, at least room for one, maybe two full length vids.  Youtube would be the better place to host it (kills their bandwidth quota, not ours) but their PQ is low.


Are you talking a fairly raw image from one stationary camera or a more edited version?

Do you have someone in mind?






There was a regular race video shot last year, but I never saw it.

i was thinking something you can mount to the cube truck and turn it on for each race, something with a remote.
