Good day!

My 2nd T1FK04 chassis I have put togeather seems to be working better than my 1st one. With the first one I couldnt get the rear to hook up but now with the 2nd one I have a bit too mutch rear traction and it is peshing a bit. I want to loosen up the rear a bit, should I put in stiffer rear springs or softer front springs?

Thanks, Neil.

Hey, Neil. Personally, I never try to Loose traction, I always try to gain it.... Uptil the point where you run into a problem (traction roll, scrapping the ground  etc).

First, where in the corner is it pushing?  Turn in, Mid, or exit?   If its at turn in, I would lower your front roll center alittle bit.  That will get the car to bite  more coming into the corner. If its mid corner, then you have a shock/spring issue, and I would go alittle softer on the front sway bar, or alittle firmer on the rear.

if you need alittle help on this, drop by my pit tomorrow.

a higher rear rollcenter whould get you there. or a rear sway bar. you can also try standing your shocks up in the back. will reduce your lateral grip slightly. im still noob, but these are things ive read about/experimented with in vrc.
