It was challenging running on the big track (80' x 48') last night.  The bigger track and higher average speed took many of us out of our comfort zone I think.  The corners were structured a little different from our usual small layout and it took a little adjustment.  Great practice for Speed Weekend for sure.

Remember that this coming Saturday (Nov 30) is a 12th Stock and World GT night.

See ya then,

Another good race night last night.  You could tell that we're getting used to the bigger track as there was much less board slapping compared with last week.  The first WGT qualifier was a bit rough, but everyone got that sorted by the mains.  It was good to see the big cars running, and it was great to have Colin Dick join us from the Lower Mainland for some Speed Weekend practice.

HUGE thanks to Matt, Tonia, Jay, Mike, Paul, Justin, Chris, and Steve for coming down from Nanaimo!

Next week (Dec 7) is the last club race before Christmas.

Since the last 2 races be for Speed Weekend are practice for the race and we are running 4 classes, may be for WGT and Touring stock we could run 5 minute races? That way it gives us a chance to gear and temp for the shorter race length.

That was a great night of racing. I guess I better buy my own 13.5 now.. What a difference a good handling car makes.

Who posts the results? I wouldn't mind having a look at my lap times..

We (As in me, myself, and I) have decided your not allowed to run new cars anymore. Only 5 year old chassis with a different compound wheel on each corner. (if your allowed 4 wheels.).

Nice run Jrod, I know you where behind me with the old car 41/42 laps?  And then TQ'ed with the new car on 45 laps?  Crazy change... Nice run.

Good run Jarrod.
Sorry, but you won't see any results until the New Year unless Blake goes to B&G Club to pick up the computer to get the info. And I don't think there is too much chance for that. I will say that, from what I remember, your pace stayed the same after you cleared Craig and stayed in the lead for the rest of the race.

Blake

Nice work J-Rod.  Craig told me this morning that he almost jumped off the Johnson Street bridge that night after your win.

As for the results, yeah, you're going to have to wait until January.  I'm surprised you didn't grab the printout!

I did keep the printout, but it is in the computer bag as well.
