Nitro ROCKS! (did I say that already?)

Oh what an awesome time with the Nitro today!  I think I've become an instant Nitro junkie....  thanks Blake for helping me set the car up on Tues.  My electric was hurting big time today but I managed to pull myself out of the D mains - ack!  Well at least no smokie motor in the C...

The nitro races were a blast.  I got a little twitchy 3/4 through the mains and broke the front shock tower - not enough to cripple the car but enough to make it handle like garbage.  I did manage to finish the race though - adjusting to the ill handling car took some getting use to but I did manage to get some decent laps in (well decent for me and my second race )   I guess in the excitement and noise of the race I didn't notice my radio was giving up the ghost - when I got off the drivers stand it was beeping at me and displaying WARNING on the LCD.  Put it on the table and it shut off - talk about close - I even peaked it before I started today!  I also broke the tie straps on my receiver battery so it was just hanging in there - gotta figure a better mounting system  The front strut towers broke enough for everything to float but not enough to drop the car on the ground - thus the steering issue.  Last but not least the LHS front wheel poped out of the steering - nice.  Well I've got a lot of work before next Sunday....

Definately have to get some more brakes for that straight - time to play with the adjust on the radio.... its always something isn't it

Anyhow thanks for all the help from all the Nitro guys getting me set up and running!

did i say i am going to attemp to try my first real nitro race this weekend.  since you and craig won't be around maybe that will give me a chance to be first....LOL.......well, maybe counting from the bottom up.

broke my piston connecting rod  i am done for nitro this year.  can anyone suggest an engine for next year?  i have a tc3 by the way.

you can buy a new piston and connecting rod,  depending on what motor it is ask dave, or limey, here on the site he should be able to find out
