Upgraded Carpet Knife with all the red aluminum bling bling. Heavy duty turnbuckles, RPM ball ends, big foot battery hold downs, three piece interlink upgrade, CAed rounded chasis, aluminum screws and nuts and I just upgraded to the lower roll center. Bearings are in very good shape - spins freely. Comes with nicely pre-chunked foam tires.  I'll trow in a set of NIB CRC Track Magnet dish tires front and rear and a couple of battery packs to get you going.

I think its a Bloody Knife but I'm not 100% sure.  Jody's probably right with the 3.1.5 - it looks like its a hopped up 3.1 because the chasis looks the same as my 3.1 or at least I think my other one is a 3.1....

3.1 or 3.2 or 3.2R doesnt really matter. Same car for all intents and purposes and worth the money. If it is red stuff then it has most of the newest 3.x stuff no matter what version it is.

hmmmmm i noticed a couple differences between the two , in chassis   thickness and im not positive but the 3.1 i think has a little more chassis around the stand-offs and then there is the diff ring big or small

true those are differences but do you really think they actually make a difference?. The large dif was designed with modified racers in mind. You could argue that the small lighter diff has better performace in stock. And the chassis thickness is just bling. They are the same car for all intents and purposes thats my point.

I use a big diff, but then again, mine is on it's thrid chassis, since my axle is about 18 years old.

I think Tom's car would qualify for collectors plates, well at least his axles would!!
