Thought this was interesting... Moved all his electronics where you would normally have your batteries, and put a lipo right down the center.

Wow, whats the picture of my car doing here  :D

Idd, The original Top plate has been cut twice. Once Trimming away the front) was done some 7 or 8 years ago, no idea why exactly.
Trimming away one side was done because I originally planned to put the esc with the solder posts against the battery. Afterwards this seemed like a dumb idea cause thats where the R1 gets hottest and needs airflow but I had cut it already. At least now I can change settings without the need to take the top off.

I did have to add around 150gr of weight to the back of the car for stability's sake. But I was at 964gr so it wasnt a real big problem.

Changed to the GenX pro strut cause I like it a lot and my old corally suspension was worn out from driving it hard for 5 years or so.

If anyone wants me to get some good pictures, I'll get my digicam back from my GFs house.

I cut away part of the right side of the rear pod.
I used a dremel with a cutting disk for this, I'll make some pictures of it, post em on RCtech and link to it down here. (may take a while though).
