Tekin Brushed/Brushless Esc Order

Hey, Guys.

We'll be placing a Tekin order on Thursday morning of this week and a few guys are already down for a Tekin esc. If you are looking for a new esc and are on the fence about the brushed/brushless decision, you may want to consider the RS or the RSPro by Tekin since they handle both motors types. Let me know and we'll get a killer deal going.

This messagea is for the guys who placed the Tekin order. I just spoke to Jum, the prez at Tekin and he says that they are backordered at least another three-four weeks. I recommended for our applications that we consider the RS rather than the RS pro and they could ship those right away. He says they are good down to 5.5-7.5 motors and we're looking at them essentially for up to 19T/10.5 to which he siad this is just fine, particularly given the lower profile on the RS. What do you think, Guys. Sounds fine by me.

Hi, Guys.

Just heard from Jim (pres @Tekin). Turns out there was a major snafu in the manufacturing that has delayed production of the RS with no short-term ETA. However, the RSPro was ready so we are back to original plan. They will be shipped today. I also had one Hotwire shipped and Brian A elected to snatch that up. So, for those looking to custom program the ESC, Brian will have the tools to do it at the track. I asked Jim to ship by whatever means such that we could have the ESC here for Thursday of next week.

Sorry for the delays - I am onto the supplier regularly and he is thankful for our patience. I will be sure to follow up.

The TEKIN ESC has been very popular and super easy to tune. S couple of folks have approached me about getting one so I will put in an order this week. Please PM me by this Wednesday at noon if you are interested in being added to the order.

There has been great club interest and fun with the Tekin ESCs, Hotwire/Software, and the capacitors. We were not anticipating placing another order, but if you are interested in any of their equipment and electronics, please shoot me a PM over the next week and I will be sure to get an order into the manufacturer quickly.
