Is this our future? www.powermat.com

Check it out. The product will be released at the Consumer Electronics Show this month. You simply place a battery on the mat at which point the battery is identified via RFID (or retro chargable via USB), the capacity and charge required is identified, and then it charges via induction. No cords! They are also planning to release a version that will charge two batteries at once. Cool.

I can't imagine lipos charging on this but you never know. Also you do have to put the powermat bar on the back of the battery.
