iRacing is an official NASCAR series

Most of you guys know Jarrod and I are big supporters of the iRacing simulation. Well I thought I would let you guys know, NASCAR this season adopted a simulation series and uses iRacing.

if you go to NASCAR.com and click "schedule" you will see, Sprint Cup, nationwide, Trucks and iRacing series. The obvioulsy also post standings and race reports. It is a paying professional series sanctioned by NASCAR.

The top 43 drivers in iRacing from last year made the series, that is out of 10's of thousands of drivers. They are even starting to broadcast a little bit online.


Anyway just again pointing out how kick ass this sim is.!

i just missed the pro series thi year.. i was 234th out of like 15000 iracers..lol
